MORE to Discover! Paper or Plastic?

Advice to The Administration! Quit cutting essential staff and services on the main campus to save pennies. Arts & Sciences has been bled enough and its wounds are visible and festering. Academic productivity is already smothering in decay. Morale stinks. Wake up! A penny saved is a penny! You continue to trash this campus with your maladministration and we hate you for it!

Is this on the UT campus!? Where? Shame on UT if it is!!!

Yes, it is a shame. Somewhere in the past thirty years, TPTB came up with the idea that if we cut workers' jobs, benefits, and salaries at the bottom, and then give big raises to those at the top, then everyone would be better off. So our whole nation, including colleges and universities, continues to slip into second world status.

Where is this?

The location of this stepped sty is about halfway between President Jacobs' reserved parking place behind Libby Hall and the back door to the Memorial Field house offices of the Army of the Academic Journey. In short, the neglected mess is located between the two and merely a stone's throw in either direction.

This mess is on the stairs between Mckinnion and Field House, right?

This picture looks like the stairs on the left side of the Field House, in the back, beside the dumpster.

Looks like the steps going into the back (south side) of Carlson Library.

I think this is the stairway from the Mall to the west courtyard of UHall. It runs along outside of Doermann Theater

To Anonymous Dzjerkoff 6:02. Your sarcasm raises two questions that a gung-ho IC investigative reporter might ask.

The first is "What happened to the inexpensive Lott Industries teams that kept the campus litter free?"

According to Lott website's logic: "We welcome labor intensive jobs that tie up your regular workforce and slow productivity so your business can increase efficiency and profits."

See here: http://www.lottindustries.com/
services/onsiteworkcrews.asp

The second question is "What do you have against hiring the local handicapped so that prospective students and parents visiting our increasingly trashed-up campus don't catch sty-eye?"

David Nemeth (aka Diogenes) seems to be getting increasingly extreme in his posts.

This is scary: there are at least 3 different places people are guessing this could be. I vote with the people who say it's the back stairs by the (newly renovated and oh-so-promoted) Field House.
