Is this the chair of the Provost search committee? What were the advertised qualifications for the position when one of the finalists is an assistant professor? And how does one become an assistant professor of psychiatry with a doctorate in English and no clinical experience? Is not the Provost, an institution's chief academic officer?

Since the qualifications of Provost include the ability to answer only "yes" to Jake, I know who has the most experience. But since we are a technical school there is a different candidate who may be more qualified. Unfortunately the other 3 are just for show.

If you could warn the candidates, what would you say? Remember, they may be reading this....

WTF? An assistant professor, really? Can someone provide a link to the finalist information?
