Student government leaders have expressed concern in the future of the University and also great interest in the pending no confidence vote and the arrival of the New entity. There is discussion of a student petition to protest the Jacobean Entity. A number of them will attend the ASC meeting on April 15.
Also they have asked Exec Council to send a speaker to one of their meetings.

A petition sounds like a pretty good idea. Some of us, the students, could get together and collectively write one and then make it available somewhere on the website. (http://utvoices.tripod.com/) Students then could print copies off and take it to classes or meetings and get some signatures. Any one interested in getting together and writing one?
Not only should we sign a petition we should all be visible and start attending all board meetings. It might sound alot but there are only a few left.
We should all make a collective effort to make it to these meetings even if it is for 5 minutes. We have to be mobile, otherwise this overhaul will occur and it will be on all of our backs.
